Opening hours
BridgeMuseum is open year‑round, with seasonal hours to match the longer days of summer.
Day Session
Open 7 days a week
- April–September: 9:00am–6:30pm (last admission 5:30pm)
- October–March: 9:00am–8:30pm (last admission 7:30pm)
SkyHouse After Hours
Thursday and Friday evenings
- April–September: Session commences at 5:35pm and runs for approx 45 minutes - 1.5 hours
- October–March: Session commences at 7:35pm and runs for approx 45 minutes - 1.5 hours
SkyHouse event dates and opening hours may change seasonally or for special events.

Getting here
BridgeMuseum is located in the South-East Pylon of the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Entry to the museum is via the Sydney Harbour Bridge pedestrian footpath.
From The Rocks – take the Harbour Bridge lift or stairs, located opposite The Glenmore Hotel, from Cumberland Street to the pedestrian walkway. Turn right and walk North along the walkway for 300 metres until you reach the entrance to the South-East Pylon.
From Milsons Point – take the stairs or lift to the pedestrian walkway and head South for around 800m until you reach the entrance to the South-East Pylon.
Parking
If you’re planning on driving, there are plenty of parking options nearby.

- Quay West car park - 111 Harrington Street, Sydney

Metered Street Parking
There is also street parking available along Cumberland Street and surrounding streets, including designated Mobility scheme parking zones. For Mobility parking locations, visit the City of Sydney website here.

To help you enjoy the BridgeMuseum in your preferred language, we offer a translation app available on the day of your visit. By scanning QR codes located throughout the experience, you can access translated content in Japanese, Mandarin, Korean, German, and French using your own smartphone.

Seniors Cards (Australia & New Zealand)
We welcome valid Australian and New Zealand Seniors Card holders. To receive the concession rate, simply show your government‑issued Seniors Card on arrival.

Student Cards
Concession pricing is available for full‑time Australian & New Zealand university and TAFE students.

Yes, we accept Companion Cards. Guests who require a companion or carer are welcome to bring them free of charge. We accept Companion Cards from all Australian states and territories.
