BridgeMuseum – School Group Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to all school group bookings for daytime general admission and prebooked education experiences at BridgeMuseum. 

1. Daytime General Admission – School Groups 

Cancellations 

  • A full refund applies when written cancellation is received 24 hours or more before the booked entry time. 
  • Cancellations received less than 24 hours before the booked entry time, or no shows, will be charged 100% of the group value. 

On the Day Adjustments 

  • Reductions of up to 10% of the booked student numbers may be processed on arrival free of charge. 
  • Increases are subject to capacity and will be charged at the applicable school group rate. 

Complimentary Teacher Ratios 

BridgeMuseum provides complimentary (“FOC”) entry for teachers and supervising adults according to the following ratios: 

  • Kindergarten to Year 2: 1 teacher per 10 students 
  • Years 3 to 6: 1 teacher per 15 students 
  • Years 7 to 12: 1 teacher per 30 students 

Additional teachers are charged at $29.95 per person. 

Complimentary places are included when calculating late cancellation and no show charges. 

2. Pre-Booked Add-on Experiences (eg. Guided Tours) 

  • A full refund applies when cancelled 48 hours or more before the scheduled start time. 
  • Cancellations received less than 48 hours before the start time, or no shows, will be charged 100%. 
  • Headcount reductions of up to 10% may be made free of charge up to 48 hours prior. After this time, charges apply to the original booked numbers. 

3. No Shows and Late Arrivals 

  • Groups arriving more than 30 minutes late may not be guaranteed entry and may have their experience shortened to meet operational requirements. Fees remain unchanged. 
  • No shows are charged 100% across all products, with no refunds.  

4. Force Majeure

  • In the event of genuine force majeure (such as government mandated closures or extreme weather affecting safe operations), all fees will be waived. 
  • BridgeMuseum will offer rescheduling or refunds at its discretion.

5. How to Cancel or Amend a Booking 

  • All cancellation or amendment requests must be submitted via email or phone to the BridgeClimb Concierge & Bookings Team. 
  • Time stamps are based on Sydney time (AEST/AEDT) and the scheduled start time of the booked product.
